Grand Opening!

The Fate of the Mary Celeste
Welcome to the sett!

It's been a priority for some time to get a website up and running, but while I work on a really nifty site for Blue Badger Studios, my photo contracting business, I decided to put blogger to use and get myself and maybe some of my work out there to be seen. This thing might even be useful for just thinking aloud and keeping an online notebook of brilliant ideas.

Current such ideas include a body of digital manipulations illustrating stories and scenes from folk stories and mythology along the lines of this nifty little thing: The Fate of the Mary Celeste.

For those unfamiliar with the story, the Mary Celeste was on her way to Gibralter in the late 19th century, carying a cargo of industrial alcohol. She was found adrift, her entire crew missing and no sign of a reason for their abandoning ship. No trace of them was ever found and the Celeste became one of the most famous ghost ships to sail the seas.
